Mön is a 6 years old mare bred by us.

A very talented five gaiter.

Tölt is her favourite choise and she has got a beautiful tölt,

with big leg action and a good collection without restraint.

She is not big but has a cheerful character, a good

willingness and is easy to handle.

Her pace is still going strong and is very promising.

She trots easially and the canter can be ridden slow and

very fast.

She could be a perfect candidate for five-gait competition.

We have known her mother Skessa frá Hofsstöðum

IS1991258581 since she was 4 years old but we could not break her in because of a one blind eye.

We have bred and broken in 3 of her offsprings. One mare Ála frá Hryggstekk was to breeding competition in 2014 and has scored first class for rideability and one of her sonsTanni frá Sauðanesi has done very well in five-gait competitions in Sweden,

Her father Þytur frá Neðra Seli IS1999186987 is well known breeding and competition horse. In breeding competition he has scored 8,43 and in five-gait competition he has scored 8,59 and was in the finals in A-flokk in Landsmót 2008. He has got first price for offsprings in 2012 and the judges gave a comment on his offspings: ...Þytur gives a big leg action to his offspings and tölt in all speeds with long steps.
